Dear Neil
I have just discovered your excellent website. I thought you might be interested in the attached photos.
The top one shows my father Bill Doughty on Bolsover No1who was Assistant Enginewright under Ted Robinson until transferring to Renishaw Park as Enginewright in 1952. The only other one I know is Ernie Guiniver the middle of the three standing.
The bottom photo has my father (x above his head) playing for the Fitters against the Electricians around 1948 ( I can remember going but not a lot else) and I cannot put any names to the other players.
I lived at 34 Woodhouse Lane and well remember the buckets going onto the tip (also the old tip being continuously smoking).
I hope these are of interest to you.
Many thanks to ROBERT DOUGHTY for his email and photographs.
